As you may already know, the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) is:
“The professional association for the development and advancement of construction education, where sharing of ideas and knowledge inspires, guides and promotes excellence in curricula, teaching, research and service.”
ASC is run by elected Regional Directors and an Executive Committee. All these individuals volunteer their time to support construction education and their colleagues. I would like to thank all the ASC Board of Directors for their service! Many people through the years 54 years ASC has existed deserve our thanks.
One of the people at the top of that list is ASC’s immediate past President, Lori Brown. Many of you know Lori because of the remarkable work she has done as Competition Manager for the ASC Regions 6 & 7 Student Competition. Lori has faithfully served the ASC for 20 years, and she just completed a 3 year term as President. Normally the ASC president serves a 2 year term, but due to a resignation, Lori stepped up to serve an extra year. So, thank you Lori Brown for all you have done for ASC!
If you just returned from Minneapolis and 54th Annual ASC International Conference, I hope you had a wonderful time and made it home safely. If you were unable to attend, you missed a good one!
Please mark your calendars for the next conferences:

April 15 – 18, 2020 at Liverpool, United Kingdom hosted by Liverpool John Moores University
